Victorian bushfires

Published on
4 January 2016

Our thoughts and prayers are with residents of Wye River, Separation Creek, Kennett Creek, Grey River, Lorne, Allenvale and the many other communities already responding to bushfires that are beginning the long journey to recovery.

The Salvation Army continues to assist at the Apollo Bay recovery centre providing practical and material aid for those who have lost their primary place of residence during these fires.

We are grateful to the community and to organisations such as Woolworths who have launched a Bushfire Appeal to help raise critical financial funds to help restore the lives of those affected.
While we appreciate the willingness of the community to donate physical goods, we are unable to receive them at this stage.

To support the ongoing work of The Salvation Army including those affected by the bushfires, please click the donate button below and make a donation to the Red Shield Shield Appeal.
